Join New York City's Room to Read Chapter for an exclusive screening of the new PBS documentary Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity.  Pulitzer prize winning journalist Nick Kristof and his wife, Sheryl WuDunn have teamed up with documentary filmmaker Maro Chermayeff to produce this ground breaking look at issues facing women in the developing world.

On October 1st we will be screening Night One of the two part series during which Room to Read's work in Vietnam is featured.  Come join us in the beautiful auditorium at Scholastic in the heart of Soho. Before the movie screening there will be wine and a half hour discussion with Nick Kristof, Sheryl WuDunn, Producer/Director Maro Chermayeff and Room to Read Founder and Board Co-Chair John Wood.

Space is limited and seats are not guaranteed until tickets are purchased.  Get your tickets today and join us for this breathtaking look at Room to Read's work in Vietnam.  And don't forget to invite your friends!
